I grew up in Gallup, New Mexico… moved east to attend the University of Michigan...  and continued east for grad school in the DC area.  I fell in love with Northern VA and have never left!

This is my 16th year at Belvedere!  Over the years, our team has worked to improve our practice through a PYP lens.  I believe our students’ learning is enriched as we have become more purposeful connecting their real lives to our curriculum.    

Outside of school, I. LOVE. MUSICALS. The Kennedy Center is a favorite spot. We even took our wedding photos there!

Other hobbies include all the TV shows, reading, and vegetable gardening; okra has been my most enjoyable success story.  I spend a lot of time on long walks or outdoor adventures with my husband, Kevin, and our 3-year-old Scottish Deerhound, Peggy!
