Belvedere Elementary School

Reading by Third Grade
Outcomes:
- By June 2025, Third Grade Students with Disabilities will demonstrate an increase of 5% points in the unadjusted Reading SOL pass rate and in the expected within year screener growth on iReady.
- By June 2025 the percentage of Third Grade Students attaining a passing unadjusted score on the Third Grade Reading SOL will increase at least 5% from 74% to 79% or higher.
Strategies:
- Increase use of data to plan instruction and monitor progress during intervention to ensure that students demonstrating risk master foundational skills.
- Increase intentional use of multisensory, visual, verbal, written and/or interactive scaffolds and supports in whole group settings.
Elementary School Math
Outcomes:
- By June 2025, Multilingual Learners in 5th grade will grow 5% points in expected within year screener growth on iReady from 48% to 53% or higher.
- By June 2025, the percentage of students meeting the Spring math screener grade level benchmark will increase by 5 percentage points to 64%.
Strategies:
- Increase teacher implementation of explicit instruction and other components of effective mathematics intervention.
- Increase students' self-efficacy around the ability to be successful in mathematics.
Chronic Absenteeism
Outcomes:
By June 2025, Belvedere's absenteeism rate will demonstrate a reduction from 11% to 8% as evidenced by the school's chronic absenteeism data.
Strategies:
- MTSS Schoolwide and Site Intervention teams analyze attendance along with behavior and wellness data bi-monthly to identify students in need of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
- Schools will share multilingual attendance materials with families throughout the year to educate families regarding the importance of attendance for school success.
- Teachers will promote student engagement and create a welcoming classroom environment by modeling social and emotional competencies in their interactions with students.
