Christine Freeman
I come from the Greater Boston area, and Mt. Washington Valley N.H.
I’ve been teaching music for 30+ years, this is my 26th year in FCPS and my 16th year @ BES. I was an adjunct @ Gallaudet U. for 5 years teaching piano, and percussion to deaf students.
Other non-musical experience includes; managing a bookstore, nutrition store, and bakery production.
When I’m not playing, singing and moving you’ll find me walking, cooking, baking bread, playing with my dogs, mindfulness meditation and being a couch potato who pretends to knit.
I like working at an IB school because the students learn “how” to learn through inquiry, which is transferable in all disciplines.
I am looking forward to creating a comfortable environment for all to express, and communicate through music-making.
