This year is going to be my 3rd year as a Special Education teacher. I have spent my entire career in FCPS at Title 1 schools and am excited to start my second year at Belvedere. Outside of school I love to travel! I speak Spanish and spent 6 months in Argentina studying the language. I also love to play volleyball and am a big board gamer. Recently I have gotten into birding and identifying different birds in the DMV. I love IB because the students guide their learning and so rarely in elementary school do they really get to have autonomy over their education. The IB learner profile that describes me best is Caring. I am always trying to take a little off other peoples loads to make their day/week/year better. I am so excited to welcome back the students and get to hear all about their incredible summers!
