We are delighted to share the news of a tremendously successful event that took place at our school on Monday, November 6th—the Family Resource Fair. This gathering, which brought families, community organizations, and our dedicated school staff together, was a resounding success, and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated.

Families from our community gathered to meet with a variety of local organizations, each dedicated to enhancing the well-being and education of our students. These organizations came with an abundance of resources, information, and opportunities, all aimed at empowering our students and families to thrive.

One of the most significant highlights of the event was the availability of free flu shots for all ages and free COVID-19 vaccines for adults and children over the age of 12. In these challenging times, such initiatives play an essential role in keeping our community healthy and safe. We are incredibly grateful to the healthcare professionals and volunteers who made this possible.

We must also extend a massive shout-out to two key groups that played pivotal roles in orchestrating this engaging and enriching event: our Family Liaison, Iva Plazas, and our Student Mental Health and Wellness Team. Our Family Liaison worked tirelessly to connect with local organizations, ensuring their presence at the fair. Their ability to create an inclusive environment where families could come together and learn about various resources was nothing short of remarkable. Their dedication, organization, and unwavering commitment to our community shone through in every aspect of the Family Resource Fair. Without their tireless efforts, this event wouldn't have been as successful as it was.
