Hello :) This is my 4th year teaching special education at Belvedere. Before joining the Bulldogs, I worked at a Child Development Center for Learning and Research in Blacksburg, VA for two years. There, I taught preschool and mentored college students through their student teaching. My goal as an educator is to make students feel like they matter and belong in any room they step into. Their hearts, minds, and actions make them powerful and that’s all they need to change the world.
I grew up in Falls Church and attended Virginia Tech for undergrad (GO HOKIES) and completed my masters through the SPED cohort at GMU.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with my big family, especially my husband and dog-daughter, Moonpie Angel. I also enjoy reading, dancing, trying new restaurants, going to Disney World, and making charcuterie boards for the people I love.
