I am thrilled to start my 2nd year at Belvedere and my 7th+ year of teaching! I graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a B.S. in Policy & International Relations. My path to the classroom was circuitous and involved evaluating Head Start social-emotional curricula, earning an M.S. in Educational Psychology at Teachers College, and twice considering and then declining alternative teaching certification programs. In the end, it was inevitable.

My initial interest in education stemmed from the conviction that international mindedness begins in early childhood, so teaching in an IB PYP school is a dream.

I spend my time hanging out with my family, watching K-dramas, and retracing my steps to find all the things I’ve misplaced. Before Madeline joined us I enjoyed rock climbing, biking, baking, and needlework, and I probably will again someday.
